Harry Potter

As I'm sure the majority of you know, the new Harry Potter movie is coming out on November 19th. Midnight tickets are already on sale for November 18th at the Cobb on Fandango.

As Harry Potter is very near and dear to my heart, I thought I would include the newest trailer in this post to encourage you all to go and get super excited! I know its not science fiction and that its fantasy... but as one of the largest phenomenons of our generation, I thought it could possibly be excused. ;)

Not only do I agree that it should be excused, but you are currently my favorite person for posting about this. I can't wait!

It is gonna be insane. The Harry Potter series has defined our generation. Can't wait for this movie to come out.

I'm thinking pretty much our entire class is going to be there. Extra credit?

Alright, I'm going to go and I'm probably going to like it, but I'm a little concerned about this being the 7th book. This was the worst book by a mile if you ask me, and I'm not sure that the watering down that is inevitable in the transition to film is going to make that any better... Please pardon the cynicism (I really did like the other books/movies).

What!? I loved the seventh book. I guess I can understand where you're coming from. It was an entirely different book than the other six... but still. It's one of my absolute favorites!

Eh, the 7th book was a complete failure from my perspective. J.K. Rowling had created an amazing, entrancing world over the course of the previous six books only to abandon in for a camping trip in the 7th. Additionally, I was entirely unimpressed when the story became a generic "gather the magic items" type quest.
